- Premier Retail 2009 can run in 6 different languages:

- Regional currency and date formats completely supported
- Support for small screen sizes (including hand held devices)
- Added support for serialized items including the ability to enter ranges
Premier Retail Manager (formerly known as Premier Configuration) Enhancements
- Premier Configuration has now been renamed to Premier Retail Manager
- Ribbon Menu Interface for easier navigation
- Manage Purchase Orders directly in the Premier Manager
- Process Purchase Order receipts
- Added screen to maintain suppliers
- Added screen to maintain customers
- Added screen to maintain inventory items
- Added screen to maintain accessory Items

- Added the ability to access configuration options in PCE
